Grand Teton National Park

Stunning Scenery and Colours

Just South of Yellowstone NP lies the Grand Teton, a massive contrast in the geology but just as impressive in its sheer grandeur. The autumn colours set against the grey monoliths of the Teton was magnificent.

Contrasts

We stayed two nights at Signal Mountain Camp Ground on the edge of the lake to be able to get the early morning light with the Teton reflecting off the quiet waters of Jackson Lake and Oxbow Lake. What is there to say about this National Park apart from wildlife and it's sheer beauty. The only downside was the stupid behaviour of several drivers of 4WD vehicles who chased en masse across Willow Flats if elk or moose were spotted and only succeeded in scaring them away and spoiling it for the other patient and well behaved photographers there. (See Photos). From here we headed south to Moab and Canyonlands and Arches NP.
